Sarvatobhadra Chakra & Tribhagi Examples — Pranapada, Agitation & Spiritual Path
Upagrahas in SBC: Kala (son of Sun), Artha Prahara (son of Mercury = discriminates), Yamaghantaka (son of Jupiter), Gulika (son of Saturn), Mrityu (Mars-related). If any upagraha occupies the active nakshatra, propitiate that nakshatra's deity. Example 1 (Pranapada chart): PP in Shravana = Vishnu = very auspicious; Tribhagi Moon-Shravana dasha. Example 2 (agitation chart): Mrityu Sahama in Punarvasu + Moon's 15th nakshatra aspect lands on Punarvasu = anxiety despite Aditi's auspicious nature; remedy = propitiate Aditi. Example 3 (spiritual path): Vishakha dasha (Mitra deity) + Ketu transit in Vishakha 2003-04 = pivotal moment for taking to spiritual path. Tribhagi analysis order: (1) natal planets in nakshatra, (2) Vedha on that nakshatra, (3) planetary nakshatra aspects, (4) any Latta.
"If Mrityu Sahama is in Punarvasu, even Aditi's beautiful qualities cannot fully express. The upagraha poisons the nakshatra. Praying to Aditi purifies the Punarvasu energy."
— P.V.R. Narasimha Rao

- Current Tribhagi dasha: Moon (Shravana) period
- Right-click Shravana in SBC to see Vedhas from that nakshatra
Speed Analysis (for SBC aspect direction)
- Moon: ~14°/day in this chart = slightly fast → full aspect in forward direction
- Jupiter: slightly higher than normal speed
- Saturn: going fast → forward aspects
Example Chart 2 — Agitation Analysis
Data: June 13, 1949, 10:52:04 AM, Palayamkottai, India (77°E44', 8°N43')
Situation
- Birth Moon in Uttarashada
- Currently running: Punarvasu Tribhagi dasha; previous: Ardra
- Native is agitated in both dashas — why?
Analysis
- Mrityu Sahama (son of Mars = death/suffering point) is placed in Punarvasu nakshatra
- Punarvasu is also aspected by Moon (Moon aspects 15th nakshatra from itself = which lands on Punarvasu)
- Result: Moon's nature (mind/anxiety) + Mrityu (suffering/death point) together in Punarvasu
- Despite Punarvasu being ruled by auspicious Aditi, the upagraha Mrityu poisons it
- "Moon's 15th nakshatra aspect + Mrityu sahama in Punarvasu = anxiety, agitation"
Ardra Period
- Ardra (Rudra) = fiery, dynamic → also contributed to agitation in previous period
Remedy
- Pray to Aditi (deity of Punarvasu) to strengthen and purify the nakshatra
- Transit support: Sun has 1-month aspect; Saturn had some influence for months
- "Strengthening Punarvasu by praying Aditi can help the native"

- Person will balance various things; make distinctions
- 2004: Ketu transiting Vishakha → Ketu moves backward; was in Vishakha at start of 2004, left in March 2004
- "End of 2003 and beginning of 2004 = crucial time for this native to decide on learning Vedas, detachment"
- Vishakha spans Libra-Scorpio boundary → progressed Moon moving from 8H→9H (from AL perspective) = big life changes expected
- This person likely took to spiritual path at end of 2003/early 2004
Order of Analysis in Tribhagi Vimshottari
PVNR's priority order for analyzing any Tribhagi period:
- First: Is any planet placed in the current active nakshatra? (natal chart)
- Second: What Vedha does the current nakshatra receive?
- Third: What aspects (planetary aspects) does any planet cast on that nakshatra?
- Fourth: Be careful of any Latta on that nakshatra
