Correct Parashara Hora (D2) — PVNR adopts "interpreted Parashara Hora": Parashara said count from Leo/count from Cancer — he did NOT say count forward from Cancer to Gemini; he said count in reverse. Odd-sign planets: map forward from Leo (software is correct). Even-sign planets: map backward from Cancer (software is wrong — was mapping forward to Gemini). Underlying logic: Leo (Sun's sign) and Cancer (Moon's sign) are mirror axes; odd/even correspond to solar/lunar halves of the zodiac; reversal for even-sign creates a Leo↔Cancer oscillation. Practical effect: 50% of charts were getting correct D2 by chance (odd-sign only); even-sign planets have wrong Hora placement in standard software. D24 Siddhamsa even-sign correction ("mirror from Cancer"): Same principle applies to D24. Method: (1) If Rasi sign is odd → D24 from software = correct. (2) If Rasi sign is even → mirror around Cancer axis = count signs from software's D24 position to Cancer; count same number forward from Cancer = correct D24. Quick examples: Sun in Taurus (even) → software gives Libra → Libra to Cancer = 10 signs → Cancer + 10 = Aries = correct. Moon in Scorpio (even) → software gives Pisces → Pisces to Cancer = 5 signs → Cancer + 5 = Scorpio = correct. Rule: "Planets on Cancer-Capricorn axis do not change position in the correction; all others in even-sign positions rotate by their distance to Cancer." D24 education simplified rule (from this lesson forward): PVNR abandons the sequential education house rule (9th = bachelor's, 2nd = master's, 6th = doctoral) — "not based on sound logic; just traditional rules I am not 100% convinced are accurate." New rule: "Use ONLY the 4th house of D24 for all education — 4th house = general education; A4 (Arudha of 4th) using sign-based method also shows education; keep it simple."

Correct Parashara Hora — Masa Muhurat
Background: PVNR announces adoption of what he calls the "Masa Muhurat" or "correct Parashara Hora" (also called "interpreted Parashara Hora") for financial analysis going forward.
The problem with existing software: When Parashara described D2 (Hora), software computes:
- Odd signs: map forward from Leo
- Even signs: map forward from Cancer (to Gemini and beyond)
PVNR's argument: Parashara said "count from Leo, count from Cancer" — he did NOT say count forward from Cancer to Gemini. He said count in reverse. The resulting pattern of Leo→Cancer and Cancer→Leo (going in reverse) makes logical sense; the Leo→Cancer/Cancer→Gemini pattern does not.
Underlying logic:
- There are two cycles of the zodiac, each mapping to 24 Horas (half-signs)
- In odd signs: first half = Sun Hora; second half = Moon Hora
- In even signs: first half = Moon Hora; second half = Sun Hora (reversed)
- "Odd" and "even" correspond to the solar and lunar halves of the zodiac
- Leo (Sun's own sign) and Cancer (Moon's own sign) are the highest points — the luminaries' signs serve as mirror axes
Practical effect: For planets in even signs, their Hora position is mirrored. The software was getting the correct answer for planets in odd signs only; 50% of charts were right by chance.
D24 Siddhamsa — Even-Sign Correction ("Mirror from Cancer")
Same principle applied to D24: Parashara's D24 rule also uses Leo/Cancer as starting points with reversal for even signs. The "correct" D24 position for planets in even Rasi signs is mirrored around the Cancer axis.
Method:
- Identify if the planet's Rasi sign is odd or even
- If odd sign: D24 position in software = correct (no change)
- If even sign: The software position is wrong; apply the mirror correction:
- Count how many signs from the software's D24 position to Cancer
- Count the same number of signs forward from Cancer
- That is the correct D24 position
- Alternative statement: For even-sign planets, the correct and incorrect D24 positions have Cancer-Capricorn axis as their midpoint (like an Arudha-type mirror around Cancer)

PVNR note: "I will release the corrected D24 and Hora version of JHora software soon. Until then, you can mentally compute the corrected positions."
D24 Education — Simplified Rule (4th House Only)
PVNR abandons the sequential education house rule previously used in the class:
