Annual TP Chart — Power Analysis in Democracy

The natal chart shows the events but the dashas we know are not perfect for everybody. Tithi Praveśa gives almost perfect results for almost everybody. So take the annual charts.

2004–05 (Tithi Praveśa March 6, 2004)

Hora lord: Moon.

Rāśi, Virgo lagna:

• Moon is in the 12th with Jupiter.
• She is running the annual Mars dasha, to December 10. The arrest came a few days before it began; the drama unfolds in it.
• Mars is lord of the 3rd and the 8th, in the 8th in Aries. The 8th shows setbacks, anxieties — and the sins you do.
• Venus is at 7°, Rahu at 20°, Mars at 26°, all in Aries. Mars reasonably close to Rahu is a very evil Mars.
• Venus is the 9th lord: dharma, teacher, guru, religion. Mars and Rahu afflict him in the 8th.
• For an astrologer or occultist this could be good: pursuit of occult knowledge (with Rahu there, possibly black magic). For a politician it is breaking her dharma. In Mars dasha she commits a sin towards a teacher, a religious person.
• Does Mars show her fall? Planets in the 8th can. But Mars is in his own sign and Moolatrikona and gives Sarala Yoga. No fall. Until December 10 she is ruthless and stubborn and faces no repercussions.

Daśāṁśa, Leo lagna:

• Moon, hora lord and 12th lord, is in the 6th. A good combination.
• Jupiter, 5th lord, is in a kendra (the 7th) aspecting lagna.
• Mars, the yogakaraka, is in the 5th house of power.
• Sun, lagna lord, is in the 2nd. Neutral.
• Venus, 10th lord, is in the 11th. Gain.
• Mercury, 2nd and 11th lord, is in the 3rd, in parivartana with Venus. His annual dasha runs December 10 to February 4. Not bad.
• The birth time is uncertain by five or six minutes. PVNR's time and Sanjay Rath's give the same annual daśāṁśa.

K.N. Rao's Prediction

• K.N. Rao predicted that her government would fall in the 3rd or 4th week of December or the first two weeks of January, and that the Swami would get relief.
• He used the same birth chart. The same chart with different techniques gives different predictions. He does not use Tithi Praveśa, only the annual Tājika chart. The planets in the 8th of the rāśi may have led him there.
• The class's verdict: no fall this year.

2005–06 (Tithi Praveśa February 24, 2005)

Hora lord: Jupiter.

• Rāśi, Scorpio lagna: Jupiter is in the 11th in Virgo, aspecting the 5th. Very well placed.
• Daśāṁśa, Leo lagna: Jupiter is the 5th lord, debilitated in Capricorn but retrograde. That equals exaltation (Part 9).
• One negative: he is in the 6th, the māraka sthāna (2nd) from the 5th.
• Sun, lagna lord, is in the 10th.
• Verdict: "I honestly don't think so." No fall in this year either.

2006–07 (Tithi Praveśa March 14, 2006)

Hora lord: Saturn.

• Rāśi, Virgo lagna: Saturn is 5th and 6th lord in the 11th. But Ketu is in lagna. Lagna eclipsed by Ketu shows a big setback in the year.
• Ketu in lagna is not auspicious unless he is the 3rd or 5th lord. He pulls towards moksha, so Ketu in lagna is good for ascetics.
• Daśāṁśa, Taurus lagna: Saturn is the yogakaraka, 9th and 10th lord, with Jupiter in the 2nd. Retrograde, in a normal sign; it does not matter.
• Mercury, lord of the 5th house of power, is in the 6th. Not good for keeping power.
• Venus, lagna lord, is in Capricorn, the bādhakasthāna.
• Moon is in the 12th from lagna, and in the 8th from the 5th house of power.

"Most importantly, in a democracy, the planet that matters for power is the planet of the masses — Moon. … Moon is in the 12th house from lagna. From the 5th house of power, Moon is in the 8th house. So in either case it's bad."

• The rule: when Moon is in the bādhaka's house or in the 12th, the period is not good for power.
• Verdict: a decent chance she loses power in 2006. "If there is an election after the 2006 birthday, she is very likely to lose that election."
• Sudarshana Chakra dasha shows it more clearly: a big setback and huge disappointment in 2006. Left for later.
• A student says she is planning to advance the election to this year. PVNR: a smart move, because these two years are good for her.

What Vimshottari Adds

• Until next February Rahu–Mercury is excellent for her. Nothing can be done till then.
• "Once Ketu comes, anything is possible. Irrespective of what Tithi Praveśa shows."

Papakartari Yoga on Lagna

Swami's Chart

• Saturn is in the 2nd (Aquarius) and Rahu in the 12th (Sagittarius) from Capricorn lagna. Two malefics hem lagna in: a Papakartari on lagna.
• "This is the only negative thing that we find in this particular chart."
• In Vimshottari counted from lagna he was running Saturn–Rahu antardasha for the last two or three years.
• Lagna Vimshottari shows your actions — how you apply your intelligence, how you act in society. Moon Vimshottari shows how you feel, what happens to you.

Reading

• In Saturn–Rahu he was under bad influence. He let wrong people come near him and influence what he was doing. A lapse of judgment.
• The allegations are not correct, but not completely false either. There is a small grain of truth: somebody around him cheating him or doing something illegal is possible.
• He is not a criminal. He does not have the instincts to murder or to order a murder. Those allegations are false.
• A small mistake by people he allowed inside the Mutt was exploited by the Jayalalithaa government and built into a big case.

Final Verdict of the Class

• Swami Jayendra Saraswati is innocent. This is a conspiracy against him.
• "His only mistake is letting some bad people come … into the Mutt and influence the direction of the Mutt. That lapse of judgment is his only mistake."
• There were probably some negative developments at the Mutt without his knowing. That small grain of truth was blown out of proportion.
