Two special dashas apply: Vimshottari (Saturn MD running ~2005) + Jyotsna Samvatsara Dasha ("7th lord in 1st house → Jyotsna Samvatsara applicable; throws finer light on timing"). Key placements: Saturn = 6L+7L in 1H (Marana Karaka Sthana for Saturn); Jupiter = 5L+8L, debilitated retrograde in 6H (Neecha Bhanga from retrograde); Venus = 10L in 11H (good); Sun = LL debilitated in 3H (Libra). Two special dashas apply:
- Vimshottari Dasha (standard): Saturn Mahadasha running since ~2005
- Jyotsna Samvatsara (Kesava Samvatsara) Dasha: Applicable because Saturn (7th lord) is in 1st house → "7th lord in 1st → Jyotsna Samvatsara applies"
Rule: When a specific planetary configuration is present, a special dasha system becomes applicable in addition to the default Vimshottari. The special dasha throws "finer light" on timing.

Jyotsna Samvatsara Dasha Analysis
Dasha sequence (from Moon, 27-constellation dasha):
- Rahu mahadasha: 1993–2002 — Rahu = 6th lord in 12th house = Viprit Rajyoga → good results (previous dasha was productive)
- Sun mahadasha: ~2002 onwards — Sun = 12th lord in D10 Virgo → losses, compromises, depleting resources
Why Sun Mahadasha Is Bad
For D10 Virgo Lagna: Sun = 12th lord (Leo). "12th lord's agenda = compromises, losses, giving away, sacrifice." Sun placed among the Venus-Saturn Raj Yoga combination:

Raj Yoga Bhanga Rule:
- Kona or Kendra lords (5th+9th = Venus+Saturn here, both well-placed) combine with a 8th or 12th lord → this dusthana lord gives Raj Yoga Bhanga when his mahadasha/antardasha comes
- The Raj Yoga Banga is weaker if the dusthana planet is weak (Sun debilitated = Raj Yoga Bhanga is present but bearable)
- If Sun were strong/exalted, "it would have been much worse — an actual Raj Yoga Bhanga in full force"

Moon in D10: At 12° Virgo → by Bhava Chakra: Lagna = 29° Virgo; Moon at 12° < 29° → move to previous house → Moon is in 12th house (not 1st house as sign chart would suggest)
- Moon = 11th lord (Cancer = 11th from Virgo) in 12th house
- "11th lord's agenda = gains, fulfillment of desires. He is placed in 12th (investments, expenses). He will use 12th to give gains = investments, business ventures"
- "11th lord in 12th = not rosy, but more effort leads to gains. Better than current Sun dasha."
Business advice:
- Sun dasha: NOT conducive to business. "You may burn your hands rather than make money."
