What the teacher says

"He is the 4th and 11th lord. He is the bādhakeśa. And he is in the 2nd house. So why did he give hospitalization? For hospitalization, there has to be some link with the 12th house, right?"

  • One planet owns the 4th and the 11th only for a Cancer lagna (Venus) or a Capricorn lagna (Mars). Both are movable signs, so that planet is the bādhakeśa.
  • It sits in the 2nd, a māraka house.
  • Bādhakeśa in a māraka house does not by itself explain a stay in hospital. Hospitalization is a 12th-house matter. Look for the planet's link with the 12th.
  • He puts the question to the class twice. The answer is lost.
