Father's Accident — D12 Sudarshan Chakra Dasha + TP Chart Analysis
Example chart 1: father's accident analyzed through D12 (Dvadasamsha) + SC Dasha + natal dasha (Shatabdika). How to use D12 for timing parental events: take 9H of D12 as father's lagna, run Narayana Dasha or SC Dasha from D12. Shatabdika Dasha (100-year cycle): a special dasha useful for timing events in old age. When the SC dasha house from D12 Sun (father indicator) activates a malefic-connected sign, accidents/crises for the father are indicated.
"For the father's events, take D-12 and look at the Sun's condition. The SC dasha running from the D-12 Sun shows when the father faces crises."
— P.V.R. Narasimha Rao

D12 Analysis
D12 natal chart (Capricorn Lagna):
- Jupiter is the 9th lord (Virgo = 9th from Capricorn)
- In the natal D12: Jupiter is in the 6th house — already capable of giving accident-related results (6th = obstacles, injuries)
- L9 (graha arudha of 9th lord) = in Cancer in natal D12
Tithi Pravesha (TP) Chart for 1995–1996
(Born November → year starts November 25, 1995 at 1:29:07 PM)
In the 1995 TP chart (D12):
- L9 is in Aries (father as person, mapped to Aries in that year's TP chart)
- From Aries/L9 lagna: Jupiter (9th lord) in the 6th house in TP chart = pattern repeating from natal chart (Jupiter in 6th = accident/trouble)
- 8th lord Ketu in lagna in TP chart = 8th lord in 1st house = sudden shock/bodily mishap to the person of that lagna (father)
Why 8th lord in Lagna signals accident: Ketu = 8th lord here, going into the lagna = sudden, unexpected event that harms bodily existence. When you see 8th lord (especially as Ketu or Rahu) going into the lagna in any chart, warn the native that some sudden mishap is possible.
Hospitalization check: Look at 12th house from Aries. In this case: 4th lord, 6th lord, Venus, Mars in the 12th house → strong 12th = hospitalization/bed confinement possible.
6th lord + 8th lord in lagna (when this occurs in any year chart): Shows some kind of sudden accident or mishap to that lagna's person. PVNR: "This is definitely not good."
Dasha Selection: Shatabdika vs. Saptashala or Other Dasha
Two conditions found in this chart:
- 7th lord in Lagna (Rahu is 7th lord for Aquarius/Leo? — 7th lord in Leo lagna): Probability ≈ 1/6 (1/12 chance of 7th lord in lagna for either lord OR lagna lord in 7th) → triggers Saptashala Dasha or Shatabdika condition
- Lagna is Vargottama (same sign in Rasi and Navamsa): Probability = 1/9 (out of 9 navamsas for any lagna, only 1 gives vargottama)
Which dasha to use when both conditions apply?
Rule (PVNR's framework):
- More years → stronger dasha (Shatabdika = 100-year cycle; more years = more relevant)
- Lower probability = rarer condition = stronger dasha (1/9 < 1/6, so vargottama condition is rarer)
- Strength of planets fulfilling the condition: Jupiter is in lagna AND in vargottama (both Rasi and Navamsa lagna = Leo with Jupiter). This is extremely strong. Rahu (7th lord in lagna) is in an enemy sign (Leo) — less dominant. Jupiter dominates → Shatabdika (ruled by 100-year Jupiter conditions?) applicable.
Additional rule: "If you see that the planets forming the condition are stronger in one dasha, favor that dasha. Even if another dasha has longer period, if the planet fulfilling the condition for the shorter dasha is really strong and dominant in the chart, you may have to reconsider."
Here Jupiter in vargottama lagna wins → Shatabdika Dasha used.
— PVNRNote: Shatabdika Dasha has a 100-year cycle. This native was running Saturn (30 years from birth) Mahadasha. Actually per class context, Saturn Mahadasha for ~30 years was running, but next would be a 100-year period.
Pratyantar period: Saturn/Mercury/Sun was running in March 1996.
Natal Dasha Analysis (D12)
From natal D12, L9 is in Cancer. In the Saturn/Mercury/Sun period:
- Sun is the 2nd lord in the 7th house in D12 → Maraka (2nd lord in 7th = badhaka/maraka position) — this is a dangerous combination for the father
- Sun and Jupiter are conjunct in D12 natal chart (in Capricorn, 3rd house) → they exchange results: Sun will give Jupiter's results; Jupiter's results include 6th house (obstacles, accidents) since Jupiter is 6th lord (Gemini = 6th from Capricorn)
- Therefore: Sun pratyantar dasha could give accident because Sun gives Jupiter's results, and Jupiter in natal chart is capable of giving accidents (6th lord)
General Principle: When a planet who is capable of giving a bad result in the natal chart shows a similar pattern in the Tithi Pravesha chart, the result will be more prominent. When the same combination appears in BOTH natal + annual chart, the event is more certain.
SC Dasha Analysis (D12)
Running in March 1996 (D12): Gemini / Virgo / Taurus
- Gemini = progressed Lagna Chakra
- Virgo = progressed Chandra Chakra
- Taurus = progressed Surya Chakra
For father's event: Use Surya Chakra (what the world does to you; external events) → progressed Surya Lagna = Taurus
9th from Taurus = Capricorn → in the entry chart for that period, see how Capricorn is:
- 6th lord + 8th lord are together in Capricorn (from Taurus lagna, 6th = Libra, 8th = Sagittarius; their lords would be Venus and Jupiter or Saturn — specific details in chart) → sudden unexpected mishap
- This confirms: sudden accident is possible during this period
Combined Conclusion: TP chart, natal dasha, AND SC Dasha all point to the same warning. This convergence is what gives confidence in the prediction.
PVNR's caveat: This technique does not give 100% accuracy for relatives' events (as opposed to events for the native themselves). Use it as a warning: "Father should be careful. There may be some sudden mishap." The actual form of the mishap (accident vs. conspiracy by enemies, etc.) requires judgment.
