Narayana Dasha: a sign-based (Rashi) dasha that shows what is actually happening on the ground — reality vs. Vimshottari's mind perception. Available for every Varga chart (Rashi, Navamsa, Dasamsa). Applied to timing marriage via Aquarius Dasha + Aries antardasha on a student chart.

Student's chart (Aug 31 1953, Cancer lagna):
- Marriage in Dec 1989 → Narayana Dasha: Aquarius dasha, Aries antardasha
- Aquarius = 7th from UL (Upada Lagna) + has Argala on lagna → marriage confirmed
- In Navamsa (Capricorn lagna): Aquarius is lagna itself or 2nd → can give marriage
- When Vimshottari doesn't cleanly explain, Narayana Dasha gives clear confirmation
