D30 Trimshamsa — Chart of Sins & Two Types of Dharma

D30 (Trimshamsa) = Chart of Papa Purusha (sin entity within every person). Planet in D30 lagna = the greatest sin of the person's lifetime, manifesting during its dasha. Lord of D30 lagna = direction of sinful tendencies. Jayalalithaa: Rahu+Ketu in D30 lagna, Mercury as lagna lord — both Rahu MD and Mercury AD active = Papa Purusha fully activated. Navamsa vs Dasamsa: D9 shows dharma through abilities and inner calling; D10 shows dharma through worldly duty and boss relationships.

"When both the Mahadasha lord and Antardasha lord are connected to the D-30 lagna, the Papa Purusha is fully activated during that period."

— P.V.R. Narasimha Rao

D-30 Trimshamsa — Chart of Evils

What D-30 Shows

  • D-30 = Chart of Papa Purusha (sin person within each individual)
  • Shows what evil/sins a person is capable of and when they manifest
  • There is a "Papa Purusha" (sin entity) within every person — the chart shows this entity

How to Read D-30

  1. Look at lagna of D-30 and its influences (occupying planets, aspecting planets, lord)
  2. Planet in lagna of D-30 = shows the greatest sin of the person's lifetime; that sin manifests during the dasha of that planet
  3. Lord of lagna in D-30 = shows nature and direction of sinful tendencies
  4. Running mahadasha + antardasha lord both connected to D-30 lagna = sin is fully active during that period

Example: Jayalalithaa's D-30

  • Rahu + Ketu in D-30 lagna; Mercury as lagna lord
  • Running Rahu mahadasha (Rahu dasha, Mercury antardasha)
  • Both dasha lord (Rahu) and antardasha lord (Mercury = lagna lord of D-30) active → Papa Purusha fully activated
  • Conclusion: Engaging in the greatest sin of her life during this period

Navamsha and Dasamsa — Different Types of Dharma

Two Types of Dharma

  1. Navamsha Dharma = inherent, soul-based dharma; what you are by nature (Brahmin dharma, spiritual dharma, etc.)
  2. Dasamsa 9H Dharma = work dharma; the duty defined by your profession and boss

Dasamsa 9H Interpretation

  • 9th house in D-10 = your boss; the one who defines your work duty; also shows dharma in career context
  • 9L in 6H from 9H (i.e., 9L in 2H from lagna) = making enemies while upholding work dharma; can be sincere but creates opposition
  • D-10 career indicators:
    • Moon in 10H = entertainment or political career
    • Venus + Moon in Artha Trikona = entertainer
    • Sun in 5H of D-10 = political power (Sun = natural karaka for power)
    • 9L in Agni amsha in D-10 + saint's chart = dharma is to transform people spiritually

D-9 and Dharma

  • If 9L is in Moolatrikona/exalted in D-9 = very dharmic person
  • D-9 7H lord's dispositor can also give marriage during dasha/antardasha

Desha-Kala-Patra

All chart analysis must be contextualized by:

  • Desha (Place/context): Social, geographical, cultural context of the native
  • Kala (Time/age): Era and the native's current age in life
  • Patra (Who/what): Family background, profession, what the person actually does

A combination that shows "entertainment career" means something different for a politician versus an actor. Always interpret through the lens of the person's actual context.
