Sudarshan Chakra Dasha — Mother's Illness & Indira Gandhi's Death Analysis

SC Dasha applied to mother's illness: take D12 Moon as mother's lagna; run SC Dasha from D12. When the SC dasha house from D12 Moon activates a sign with malefic-dominated indicators, illness/crisis for the mother is shown. Indira Gandhi's death analysis using Sudarshan Chakra Dasha: the SCD sign for 1984 from all three chakras analyzed. 3rd from Arudha Lagna: Ketu + Mandi + Rahu in Gemini (3H from AL) = explosive, terrorist killing in garden — confirmed October 31, 1984. Vipareeta Raj Yoga for marriage: an unexpected form of "victory" through suffering.

"Ketu, Mandi, and Rahu in the 3rd from Arudha Lagna = explosive, violent death. Ketu brings suddenness, Rahu brings hidden enemies, Mandi brings Saturnine finality."

— P.V.R. Narasimha Rao

Opening Q&A

Atheism in Charts

  • Question: Can atheism be seen in a chart?
  • PVNR: Rahu represents extremes — can make someone deeply spiritual OR completely atheist
  • Check:
    1. Jupiter (dharma, faith) — weak, afflicted, or in dusthana?
    2. Navamsa placement of Jupiter and 9th lord
    3. D20 (Vimsamsa) — the chart for spirituality; weak D20 = spirituality not fulfilled
  • A strong Rahu in 9th or aspecting Jupiter without any benefic influence can produce an atheist
  • The same Rahu in 9th with Jupiter/Ketu influence produces a deeply mystical person
  • Summary: Rahu amplifies whatever it touches — extreme materialism OR extreme spirituality; chart context determines which

Rahu in 2nd House

  • 2nd house: Speech, food, family, resources, right eye
  • Rahu in 2nd:
    • Speech: Harsh, abrasive, unconventional; may speak very clearly but without tact
    • Food: Danger of food poisoning; Rahu represents foreign/unusual foods, poisons
    • Maraka implications: 2nd house is a maraka sthana; Rahu here becomes a strong maraka
    • If malefics also have graha drishti (planet aspect) on the 2nd house → poisoning becomes a real danger
    • Rule: When 2nd lord is also afflicted + Rahu in 2nd + malefic aspect on 2nd → be very careful of food/drinks

Example 1 — Mother's Illness (Mitnala's Chart)

Step 1: Identify the Annual Chakra (D12 SC Dasha)

For the year of the event (around July 2005), the person is in their 37th year. The SC Dasha is calculated from the D12 (Dvadasamsa = divisional chart for parents).

D12 SC Dasha positions (year ~2004-2005):

ChakraSign
Lagna ChakraLibra
Chandra ChakraLeo
Surya ChakraScorpio

Step 2: Find "4th from Surya Chakra" = House of Mother

  • Surya Chakra = Scorpio (what the world actually does to us)
  • 4th from Scorpio = Aquarius
  • Aquarius becomes the working lagna for analyzing the mother in this annual period

Step 3: Use Ashtakavarga to Pick Strongest

  • In the annual D12 chart, check SAV (Sarva Ashtakavarga) scores for Libra, Leo, Scorpio
  • Mercury has the strongest AV score in this chart → Mercury's role is emphasized
  • For Aquarius (mother's lagna): Mercury is the 5th and 8th lord
    • 5th house (from Aquarius) = time with children, good moments
    • 8th house (from Aquarius) = sudden problems, hidden enemies, transformation

Step 4: Check Aquarius Lagna (Mother's Annual Lagna)

SAV scores for mother's lagna (Aquarius):

  • 5th house = SAV score of 37 = strongest → period of time with children/grandchildren
  • 8th house SAV also high → sudden problems emerging
  • The combination of 5th house strength (family bonding) and 8th house activation = a period where family comes together because of a health crisis

Lagna lord for Aquarius = Saturn (and co-ruler Rahu)

  • Saturn + Rahu in the 6th house with the 6th lord Moon
    • 6th house = disease, enemies, obstacles
    • Moon = karaka for mother
    • Rahu + Moon = Rahu eclipses Moon = the most difficult fight; Moon cannot shine through Rahu's darkness
    • Saturn + Rahu in 6th = serious chronic/debilitating disease tendency

Jupiter + Ketu in 12th house:

  • 12th house = hospitalization (sleep away from home, confined care)
  • Jupiter in 12th = wise helper available at the hospital
  • But Jupiter is debilitated → the helper (doctor/healer) is not very confident, not optimistic, but still trying; doing their duty despite feeling uncertain
  • Ketu with Jupiter = intuitive approach to treatment; like a headless doctor who uses instinct over clinical protocol
  • Jupiter + Ketu combination: intuition guides, but Ketu removes head (analytical precision); treatment is compassionate but uncertain
  • Jupiter aspects lagna from 12th (full aspect) = some protective energy over the situation

Step 5: Chandra Chakra (Leo) for Emotional Response

  • Saturn (MKS = Maha Karaka Sthana level malefic) in Leo lagna = deep sadness, heavy emotional burden
  • Moon (karaka for mother) in 12th house from Leo = perception of loss, feeling that mother is gone/disappearing
  • Sun (lagna lord for Leo) in 4th house = mind focused on home, thinking about the mother
  • PVNR: Sun in 4th = "the person is constantly thinking about the mother, the home situation"
  • IMPORTANT RULE: Moon in 12th house does NOT by itself indicate death. It indicates a perception of loss, emotional distance, feeling like you're losing something. For actual death, Maraka planets must be activated.

Monthly Drilldown — Mitnala's Mother (July 21–Aug 21, 2005)

Monthly Surya Chakra

For the month of July 21–Aug 21, 2005:

  • Monthly Surya Chakra = Pisces (one of the 12 signs, determined by monthly rotation)
  • 4th from Pisces = Gemini
  • Gemini = working lagna for analyzing the mother's status this month

Gemini Lagna (Mother's Monthly Analysis)

Ketu in Gemini lagna:

  • Ketu = natural 6th house karakattva indicator (obstacles, disease)
  • Ketu is debilitated in Gemini (Ketu's debilitation = Scorpio per some, but PVNR using natural malefic in enemy sign)
  • Debilitated planet in lagna of monthly analysis = serious, depressed energy over the situation
  • PVNR Rule: A debilitated planet giving disease = very serious illness because the planet is depressed, it gives its results (disease) in a depleted/degraded way — not a mild, passing illness
  • Ketu is also 6th lord from lagna → 6th lord sitting in the lagna with debility = maximum disease impact

Mercury in 12th house from Gemini:

  • Mercury = lagna lord for Gemini
  • Mercury in 12th = lagna lord in the house of loss, hospitalization
  • AV score of Mercury in 12th = 2 (extremely weak; average is ~4-5, range is 0-8)
  • A score of 2 for the lagna lord = overall well-being is severely compromised; mercury in 12th = the person (mother) has very little vitality available

SAV Score Patterns for Mother's Monthly Lagna (Gemini)

HouseSignificanceSAV ScoreComment
5th housePurva Punya (past life merit)~20Very poor (avg 25-28); lack of divine blessings
2nd houseFood, resources, sustenancePoorCannot sustain the body properly

PVNR on Purva Punya (5th house AV):

  • If 1st, 5th, 9th houses are strong in AV → even in difficult times, past-life blessings carry you through
  • Weak 5th house AV = no Purva Punya cushion → in a moment of crisis, no divine grace steps in to help
  • "This mother did not have the accumulated merit to pull through this month's analysis"

Monthly Chandra Chakra

  • Monthly Chandra Chakra = Leo (same as annual Chandra Chakra in this example)
  • 4th from Leo = Scorpio
  • Scorpio = mother's position from Chandra perspective

8th lord of Scorpio (for Scorpio lagna, 8th lord = Mercury):

  • Mercury in 7th house from Scorpio
  • 7th house = maraka sthana for any lagna
  • 8th lord in 7th = a maraka operating through transformation = death-like suffering, can indicate actual death
  • From Chandra Chakra, the mother is experiencing the 8th lord in a maraka house

AV Hierarchy in Monthly Analysis — Key Rules

LevelAV to Use
Mahadasha analysisUse natal chart AV
Antardasha analysisUse Mahadasha pravesha (entry chart) AV
Pratyantar analysisUse Antardasha pravesha AV
Monthly (within Mahadasha)Use annual chart's AV for cross-reference
  • PVNR: "The AV hierarchy is like concentric circles — each level uses the chart appropriate to that period's entry"
  • For monthly drilldown, look at the annual pravesha chart's AV positions for the relevant sign
  • This ensures AV is always fresh and relevant to the time period being analyzed
