PVNR's preference: True nodes (recommended in JHora calculation options)
True nodes = actual geometric points where Moon's orbital plane intersects the ecliptic at that exact moment — the real eclipse-causing points
Mean nodes = time-averaged positions; always retrograde by construction; traditional preference because Shastra says Rahu-Ketu are retrograde, but PVNR is not fully convinced that means every moment
Difference: Up to ~0.5° in longitude; can change a planet's sign in divisional charts
How to set: JHora → Preferences → Related to Calculations → Planet Calculation Options → select "True Nodes"
JHora default: Mean nodes (change manually; setting does NOT save automatically unless you save preferences)
Dusthana Lords in Own Dusthana — Neutralizing the Harm
General principle:

Specific examples:
- 6th lord in 6th = neutralized; obstacles and enemies stay in their own domain

- 12th lord in 12th = removes worries related to loss; foreign travel and expenses become manageable; the planet is "at home" in its own Dusthana
Contrast: When a Dusthana lord is in a Kendra or Trikona (e.g., 6th lord in 1st), it brings its negative agenda directly into the life/career/fortune sphere.
