Dashas of the year: Saturn till September 26; Jupiter till December 2; Rahu through the rest of December and January; then Venus. Jupiter, Rahu and Venus are the ones to weigh.

Arudhas in D4

• A4 is in Cancer, in lagna itself.
• A11 is in Pisces. A7 is also in Pisces. A7 shows interactions with others — putting the house on sale, dealing with the agent and the buyers.

Jupiter (till December 2)

• In D4: lord of the sign holding A11 and A7; 9th lord in the 11th house of gains (Taurus); in A8, the arudha of the 8th, which shows a sudden development; with Rahu, the 8th lord, who shows suddenness.
• In rasi: 9th and 12th lord in the 8th house (Scorpio), in A11. A11 shows some gain, not necessarily from the house. A functional benefic in the 8th house of suddenness, in A11, gives a sudden gain.
• A student asks whether this is the same as the 8th lord in the 9th. It is not:

"8th lord in 9th is different from 9th lord in 8th. Being the 9th lord, his agenda is auspicious. And being in the 8th house, he will bring out the good of the 8th house, which is sudden good."

Rahu (December 2 onward)

• In rasi: in the 11th house in Aquarius, his own house. The 11th lord in the 11th in own house is very auspicious for gains — fulfilment of the desire, the final gratification. A malefic in own house is very strong.
• In D4: 8th lord of suddenness in the 11th house of gains, in A8, which shows a tangible event.
• He has the 11th-house argala on A11. (He is in Taurus; for a node the count from Pisces runs in reverse.) Jupiter, in the same sign, is obstructing argala on his own sign, while Rahu is causing it.
• Rahu, Ketu and Venus cause argala on A11; two planets obstruct. It is a weak argala, but the planets causing it can give the result — some gain relating to property.

Guru-Chandala Yoga in D4

• Jupiter and Rahu are together in Taurus in the D4 of the year: Guru-Chandala yoga. Both planets likely to give the sale take part in an inauspicious yoga, so there will be some inauspiciousness about the sale.
• He may have to compromise and sell for a smaller price. It shows unhappiness — a killing of the spirit within you.

"If you are expecting 400K for a house, suppose, just hypothetically, and you get only 380K, you are very unhappy. But the thing is, it is a gain. It is not a loss."

• So the A11 indications stand, and he is still not very happy: a compromise and some loss of spirit, even though a gain is made.

Prediction and Timing

• Rahu is the very strong candidate, but Jupiter is not ruled out.
• Second half of November 2007 (end of Jupiter's dasha): something comes up suddenly; a buyer shows interest.
• After December 2 (Rahu's dasha): the signing, the money, the final gratification that the 11th house stands for.
• The window the teacher is hopeful of: the second half of November and the first two or three weeks of December, before Christmas.
• The buyer will come very suddenly, and the price will be a compromise. Both points agree with what the students got from their prashna.
