Two House Constructions — Annual Chart Double Link, Conditional Dasa Scope & Benefic vs Malefic Building Dasha
Secunderabad chart: (1) 1991 India house built in Ketu MD (3rd lord in A6) + Saturn AD (4th+5th lord Rajyoga with Jupiter) — Ketu in 6th house = hard work/obstacles; construction completed under Sun sub-period (12th lord in 9th = fortunate displacement). (2) 1999-2000 USA house in Venus MD (benefic) + Mars AD (3rd lord + karaka for real estate aspecting 4L-5L Rajyoga). Annual 1999: A4 in 12th + 4th lord Mars in UL = double link between 4H and 12H = strong moving/new residence signal; Mercury exalted (9L in 9H) AD = fortune manifested February move. Benefic/malefic rule: build in benefic planet's dasha = happiness and long stay in that house; build in malefic dasha = financial gain possible but no peace. Conditional (special) dasas are best in their specific karma area; outside that area, Vimshottari always works as reliable baseline — "like a character actor who always does well in every movie."
"When you build a house in the dasha of a benefic planet, you will tend to be happy in that house and live there longer. A malefic dasha gives financial gain from the property but no happiness or peace."

Example Chart 2 — Two House Constructions
Data: September 16, 1961, 2:22 PM, Secunderabad, India Events: (1) Built house in India in 1991; (2) Built/moved into house in USA, Sep 1999–Feb 2000
Event 1 — 1991 House
Vimshottari Dasha: Ketu Mahadasha, Saturn Antardasha
- Ketu = 3rd lord (investing in property) in 6th house (overcoming obstacles)
- Saturn = 5th lord with Jupiter (= 4th lord) → powerful 4th+5th lord Rajyoga
- "Ketu being 3rd lord and in A6 — he is overcoming lot of obstacles. Saturn and Jupiter together = Raj yoga = 4th and 5th lords = Vishnu's blessing for the house."
- 6th house involvement = hard work and struggles in construction process
Narayana Dasha (without Saturn exception): Leo dasha
- Leo (Sirshodaya) → gives own results first
- In middle 1/3: aspectors and occupants of Leo give results
- Order by longitude: Rahu → Venus → Jupiter → Sun
- Construction started when Rahu was giving results
- Rahu = 6th lord in 12th house = Vipareetha Rajyoga
- From AL: Rahu in 9th house (protecting status)
- In A8 = some tension/anxiety
- Construction finished and moved in when Sun gave results
- Sun = 12th lord in 9th house = "fortunate displacement"
- "Moving to a nice warm house — 12th lord (displacement) in 9th house (fortune) = you leave one place and gain something much better"
Rule: Malefic/benefic dasha and the house you build:
— PVNR"When you build a house in the dasha of a benefic planet (or dasha of a trine/quadrant sign), you will tend to be happy in that house and live there longer. When you build a house in the dasha of a malefic planet or dusthana, you may make financial gains from that property but won't get happiness or peace there."
Event 2 — 1999–2000 House (USA)
Vimshottari: Venus Mahadasha, Mars Antardasha
- Mars = 3rd lord (investing in property) and karaka for real estate
- Mars is aspecting Saturn-Jupiter Rajyoga (4th+5th lords)
- "Mars, the karaka of real estate, is the 3rd lord of investment — makes perfect sense"
- First house built in Ketu dasha (malefic) → more struggle; second in Venus dasha (benefic) → more happiness
Annual Chart 1999 (ATP):
- Hora lord = Sun
- A4 in 12th house + 4th lord Mars in UL = double link between 4th and 12th = strong indication of change of residence
- Mercury exalted (9th lord in 9th house) antardasha = "fortune will manifest — he moved in February when Mercury was active"
Double-link principle: "If both A4 is in the 12th house AND the 4th lord is in UL (which relates to 12th), that is a double link between 4th and 12th = strong indication of moving/change of residence"
Conditional Dasa — Scope and Limitations
- Conditional (special) dasas work best in their specific karma area (what they are designed for)
- "For each special dasha, there is a focus area in which it is absolutely the best; outside that area, it becomes less effective"
- Example: Chaturaseethi Sama Dasha (10th lord in 10th house) is strongest for career karma; for buying a house, it may not show clearly
- Vimshottari Dasha = "Like a character actor who always does well in every movie. It always maintains a baseline. In movies without a specialist, it is the best."
- PVNR's approach: "When conditional dasha applies, try to use it. If it doesn't make sense in a divisional chart, ignore it. Vimshottari always works as a backup."
