VE7 = experimental special lagna: Venus + speed factor 7 (analogous to Hora Lagna = factor 2, Ghati Lagna = factor 5; PVNR's extension). VE7 changes sign every ~17 minutes in Rasi. Marriage rule: "7th from VE7 must link to lagna in the dasha/antardasha of marriage — link = lord of that sign in lagna, OR lagna lord in that sign, OR both aspecting each other (half aspect counts); found in ~80% of charts; Rasi only (Navamsha changes every 2 minutes = impractical)." Theory
Parashara defined special lagnas (Bhava Lagna, Hora Lagna, Ghati Lagna) that start at Sun's rising position and rotate at uniform speeds:
- Bhava Lagna: 1 rotation/day
- Hora Lagna: 2 rotations/day → related to 2nd house (wealth)
- Ghati Lagna: 5 rotations/day → related to 5th house (power/authority)
PVNR's extension: Take any planet's rising, apply speed factor of any house number:
- VE7 = Venus + speed factor 7 → Venus-based lagna moving 7× faster than regular lagna
- VE7 changes sign in Rasi every ~17 minutes
- Venus = karaka for marriage; 7 = house of marriage/relationship
