D6 Health, D16 Vehicles & D30 Trimshamsa — Three Tattva Variations + Body Part Rules
D6 (Shashthamsa) for health/accident: key houses are 6H and 8H; Vipareeta yoga does NOT apply in D6 — 8th lord in 8H is BAD. In the puzzle TP D6: Mars in 8H (own sign), Saturn (6L) exalted but in MKS aspecting 8H = violent accident possible; but Venus-Saturn parivartana softens it. D16 (Shodasamsha) for vehicular events: only shows what happens to YOUR OWN vehicle — if another vehicle hits you, D16 will NOT clearly show it. D30 (Trimshamsa) three variations: (1) Parivritti = current-life evils being done; (2) Shastiamsa-like = punishment for past evils; (3) Parashara's = vulnerabilities. No planet can occupy Cancer or Leo in D30. Tattva-based D30: Mercury signs=Earth/bones; Venus signs=Water/blood; Mars signs=Fire/digestion; Saturn signs=Air/breathing; Jupiter signs=Akasha (most serious — attacks entire existence). Body part identification: 8th lord's SIGN in natural zodiac = body part; 6th lord's HOUSE from lagna = body part. In the puzzle chart: 8L Venus in Leo (5th sign) = stomach; 6L Jupiter in 10H = knees.
"D-30 has three variations. The tattva-based D-30 maps the body parts through the five elements. Which body part is most vulnerable is shown by which element is most afflicted in D-30."

Identifying the Event — Methodical Analysis
Using D-6 (Shashtamsa) for Health/Accident
What D-6 shows: Any problems to the person's existence — ill health, accident, bodily harm, litigation, quarrels with others who fight you
Key houses in D-6: 6th and 8th houses are the bad houses showing body problems
Important rule:
— PVNR"In D-6, Vipareeta yogas (Sarala, Hasta, Vimala) are NOT considered good. If the 8th lord is in 8H or 6H in D-6, it is bad (unlike Rasi chart). The inverse yogas don't apply here."
In this TP D-6:
- Mars in 8th house of D-6 (in own sign — 8L in 8H = bad for D-6)
- 6th lord Saturn: exalted in D-6, but in Marakasthana, aspecting 8H where Mars is
- Saturn-Mars aspect: "Usually Mars-Saturn aspect shows very violent things, extremely violent things"
- BUT: Parivartana between Saturn and Venus (Venus = karaka for vehicle) → Venus acts like Saturn, Saturn acts somewhat like Venus → softens the violence, makes it less extreme
- Conclusion: Some accident possible, but less violent due to the Venus parivartana
Using D-16 (Shodasamsa) for Vehicular Accident
What D-16 shows: Vehicular pleasures, vehicle-related events
For vehicular accident: See 6th and 8th houses of D-16
- 6th lord Sun in 3H of D-16
- 8th lord Venus in 2H of D-16
- No extremely bad combinations
Conclusion: Not clearly showing vehicular accident in D-16 → THIS DOES NOT MEAN no accident; it means his OWN vehicle was not involved. If another vehicle hit him, it would not show clearly in his D-16.
— PVNR"If another vehicle came and hit him, you would not see it in D-16. D-16 shows what happens to your vehicle, not someone else's vehicle hitting you."
Contrast: PVNR gives his own vehicular accident (Dec 5, 1996) as example where D-16 clearly showed the accident because it was HIS own vehicle that was totaled. That showed in D-16 because his own vehicle's experience was the issue.
Using D-30 (Trimshamsa) for Subconscious Evil/Vulnerabilities
The Three Variations of D-30
| Variation | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Parivritti Trimshamsa | Evils the person is currently DOING — present-day karma being created |
| Shastiamsa-like Trimshamsa | Suffering obtained BECAUSE of past evils — punishment for karmas already done |
| Parashara's Trimshamsa | Weaknesses/vulnerabilities of the person — what can be attacked |
Special rule: In D-30, NO planet can occupy Cancer or Leo. Those 2 signs are excluded.
Use case guide:
- Checking if an accused person actually committed a crime: see Parivritti Trimshamsa
- Checking if bad events are due in a particular period: see Shastiamsa-like Trimshamsa
- Checking what areas of the body or life are vulnerable: see Parashara's Trimshamsa (usually what PVNR refers to when he says "D-30")
Tattva-Based Analysis in D-30
In D-30, the affliction is analyzed by the tattva of the sign involved:
| Planetary Owner | Sign | Tattva | Body Domain |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mercury | Gemini, Virgo | Bhoota (Earth) | Bones, skeleton, hard tissues |
| Venus | Taurus, Libra | Jala (Water) | Blood, fluids, mind (marrow in nerves), depression |
| Mars | Aries, Scorpio | Agni (Fire) | Metabolism, digestion, heart, thinking process |
| Saturn | Capricorn, Aquarius | Vayu (Air) | Vata disorders, anxiety, breathing |
| Jupiter | Sagittarius, Pisces | Akasha (Ether) | No specific organ; binds all elements together; general existential threat |
Interpretation rules:
- If Rahu+Ketu are in Mercury signs = bone problems (broken bones, skeletal issues)
- If in Venus signs = blood/fluid disorders (blood pressure, blood cancer, depression due to nerve marrow depletion)
- If in Mars signs = metabolism, digestion, heart, thinking disorders
- If in Saturn signs = vata disorders, anxiety, breathing problems
- If in Jupiter signs = MOST SERIOUS — Akasha holds everything together; Vishnu is the ruler of Akasha; if Akasha is attacked, the entire existence is threatened
In this TP D-30: Rahu+Ketu in Sagittarius (Jupiter's sign) = Akasha Tattva afflicted. Moreover, Jupiter himself (the Akasha ruler) is in Marakasthana AND closely afflicted by Rahu+Ketu in this D-30. This is a very serious indication of overall physical threat.
Body Part Identification Rules
When a 6th or 8th lord is causing health problems, identify the body part as follows:
For 8th lord: See which SIGN it occupies; that sign's number in the natural zodiac (Aries=1, Taurus=2, etc.) = body part from the list below
For 6th lord: See which HOUSE it occupies from the LAGNA; that house number = body part
| House | Body Part |
|---|---|
| 1H | Head |
| 2H | Face, eyes, etc. |
| 3H | Shoulders, throat |
| 4H | Heart, chest (part of 3H also) |
| 5H | Stomach, upper digestive system |
| 6H | Lower abdomen, colon, intestines, liver, pancreas |
| 7H | Inner reproductive organs (uterus, etc.) |
| 8H | Guhyangas (anus, genitals — Parashara's term) |
| 9H | Thighs |
| 10H | Knees |
| 11H | Calves, ankles |
| 12H | Feet |
6th vs 8th vs Badhakesha:
- 6L and 8L = the "body breakers" — they want to break/damage the body
- Badhakesha = creates CONFUSING problems that are hard to diagnose; doesn't break the body as much as confuse it
Applied to this chart:
- 8th lord Venus in Leo = Leo is 5th sign of natural zodiac = stomach/digestive system problem
- 6th lord Jupiter in 10H from lagna = knees (10H body part)
- Conclusion: If there was a physical blow during Jupiter antardasha, the knees were likely affected
