Question from Saloni: "Is this the right direction? What will be the impact on marriage and children?"

PVNR's Conceptual Distinction

"Spirituality is entirely internal — seeing who you are, where you are. For that you don't need anything. True spirituality does not need modification of the external environment."

• D20 (Vimsamsa) = internal spiritual changes; how you modify yourself
• D10 (Dasamsa) = how those internal changes want to play out externally; modifying the world
• "V20 shows internal changes; D10 shows external karma. She wants to spread spirituality — that is Dasamsa."

D10 Dasamsa Analysis — Career (Pediatrician)

D10 lagna Leo vs. Virgo:

• With Leo lagna: Moon in 10th house = "Moon shows working with children, motherly care = perfect for pediatrician"
• With Virgo lagna: Mercury, Venus, Saturn would explain a doctor, but not specifically children's doctor
• Conclusion: Leo lagna makes more sense; D10 lagna = Leo confirmed
• "Moon in 10th house in D10 shows a person who works with kids or teaches kids"

Karyesha for Divisional Charts

Rule:

• "The karyesha for D20 is the 5th lord of Rashi chart (devotion, spiritual inclination)"
• "The karyesha for D10 is the 10th lord of Rashi chart (career karma)"
• "The karyesha provides the main agenda for that divisional chart"

D20 Vimsamsa Analysis — Spiritual Path

Is She a Spiritual Person?

• Rashi chart: 12th lord Ketu (Moksha Trikona lord) is exalted in lagna = very spiritual person
• D20 lagna lord Saturn in 12th house = "lots of meditation; Saturn is karaka for meditation"
• "Lagna lord in 12th house shows lot of meditation and upasana as a fundamental trait"
• Saturn = the karaka for internalized meditation (not ritualistic)
• "There are various spiritual paths — ritualistic, yajna-based, or fully internalized meditation. The internalized meditation is shown by Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu."

Mars Mahadasha in D20 (1985–2005, Satabdika):

• Mars = 12th and 5th lord in Rashi (6th and 12th = Upasana and devotion/service)
• In D20: Mars = 4th and 11th lord in 10th house (with parivartana with Venus)
• 10th house in D20 = "the karma we do — meeting people, discussing spiritual things"
• Rahu-Ketu in 10th house + Mercury (9th lord of religion) = "spiritual awakening causing her to think about doing karma in society"

D20 Narayana Dasha — 3-Part Rule

The Three-Part Rule

Narayana Dasha gives results in three parts based on the sign type:

Dasha sign itself (1/3 part):

• If dasha sign is Sirshodaya (head-rising = Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Aquarius): gives result in first 1/3 of dasha
• If dasha sign is Prisht-odaya (back-rising = Aries, Taurus, Cancer, Sagittarius, Capricorn): gives result in last 1/3 of dasha

Dasha sign's lord (1/3 part):

• If lord is in Sirshodaya sign → gives result in first 1/3
• If lord is in Prisht-odaya sign → gives result in last 1/3

Middle 1/3: Given by planets aspecting the dasha sign (and planets in the dasha sign if not already counted)

Cancer Dasha (1992–2003) in D20:

• Cancer = Prisht-odaya → gives result at the end (July 1999–March 2003)
• Cancer lord Moon is in a Sirshodaya rasi → Moon gives result in the first 1/3 (March 1992–Nov 1995)
• Middle 1/3 (Nov 1995–Sep 1997): Jupiter and Moon (both aspect Cancer) → Gajakesari Yoga results
• "From 1992–2003, Cancer dasha: she did some spiritual sadhana (7th lord Moon in 8th = spiritual struggle/awakening)"
• "7th lord in 8th or 8th lord in 7th in D20 is very good — shows the struggle ending, getting atma darshana, rising internally"

Sagittarius Dasha (current, ~2003–) in D20:

• Sagittarius = Prisht-odaya → gives result at the end
• Sagittarius lord Jupiter is in a Sirshodaya rasi → gives result in the first 1/3 (March 2003–March 2005)
• Middle 1/3 (2005–2007): Saturn and Jupiter (Saturn in Sagittarius + Jupiter aspecting) → "Saturn is lagna lord in 12th + Jupiter is 12th lord = VERY GOOD for sadhana and meditation"
• "2005–2007 is a very good period for sadhana, meditation, internal spiritual growth"

Marka Concept in D20

"In D20, if you see any planet associated with the 8th house, or 7th lord in 8th, or 8th lord in 7th — you can expect some kind of spiritual experience, some inner awakening, rise of Kundalini, or experience of the 'glorious light within.'" D10 Narayana Dasha — Virgo Dasha (2003–2012)

• Virgo = Sirshodaya → gives result in the first 1/3 (the sign itself)
• Virgo lord Mercury is in a Prisht-odaya rasi → gives result in the last 1/3
• Middle 1/3 (March 2006–March 2009): Mercury aspects Virgo → Mercury's results
