Kurma Chakra Dynamic: Lagna Star of Lunar NY Chart=East; Sarvata Bhadra Veda on Stars=Disaster Regions; Mundane D40/D60 Reliable(No Birth Time Uncertainty). SC Dasha=Parashara Best Kali Yuga Technique: Lagna+Moon+Sun Progress 1 Sign/Year; Dasha Pravesh Chakra; Lord in Own Sign+Exalted=Auspicious; Rahu in Sign=Weakened; 5H Strong=Power; 8H Strong=Setback; Convergence from 2+ References

Kurma Chakra dynamic technique (PVNR research): cast Lunar New Year chart for geographical center of country (India = Vidisha/MP; whole world = Mount Meru/Kenya); take the star containing that chart's lagna as east; assign 9 directions clockwise at 3 nakshatra per direction (27 nakshatras total); use Sarvata Bhadra Chakra of that Lunar NY chart; stars receiving Veda (obstruction) from badly-placed planets = afflicted geographical regions = potential disaster zones. "To confirm earthquake vs flood vs war: check D30, D40, D60 of the annual chart; mundane D40/D60 charts reliable because planetary positions are exactly known — no birth time uncertainty like in natal charts." Statistically significant correlations found in ~10 earthquake/tsunami examples. Sudarshana Chakra Dasha (SC Dasha): Parashara states "Sudarshana Chakra Dasha combined with Ashtakavarga is the best technique for Kali Yuga — daily, monthly, and annual predictions." Method: progress Lagna, Moon, and Sun each at 1 sign per year; year N = Nth sign from natal position; make a Dasha Pravesh Chakra (entry chart) at start of each year; judge results from that chart. SC Dasha interpretation principles: auspicious = planet in own sign; planet aspecting own sign; exalted planet in sign; sign lord is exalted; sign lord with exalted planet. Inauspicious = Rahu in any sign (that sign weakened). House meanings: 5th = power/fame/political following; 8th = sudden reversals; 9th = fortune/ease; 10th = career effort; 11th = gains. Convergence rule: "A house is strong when activated from 2 or all 3 references (Lagna, Moon, Sun); 2+ references showing 5th house strong = power/fame period; 2+ references showing 8th strong = setback."

"Parashara himself says: in Kali Yuga, Sudarshana Chakra Dasha combined with Ashtakavarga is the best method. Not Vimshottari, not Narayana Dasha — this is the technique for daily, monthly, and annual predictions. You progress the Lagna, Moon, and Sun each at one sign per year. Make an entry chart at the start of each year. Judge from that chart. When two of the three references show the same house strong, you have a clear prediction. The three references — Lagna, Moon, Sun — are the tripod of life."

Kurma Chakra — Dynamic Mundane Mapping for Earthquakes

Standard (static) Kurma Chakra: Stars mapped to fixed geographical regions (e.g., Ashwini always = east; Saturn transiting a south-mapped star → problems in southern India). PVNR notes this is India-centric and inconsistent for global predictions.

PVNR's Dynamic Kurma Chakra (based on personal research, not classical):

  • Make a Lunar New Year chart for the geographical center of the country/city (not the capital)
    • For India: Vidisha (Madhya Pradesh, near Ujjain)
    • For the whole world: Mount Meru (Kenya, near equator)
  • Take the star containing the lagna of that chart as the east direction
  • Go around: next 3 stars = southeast, next 3 = south, etc. (9 directions × 3 stars each = 27 stars total = 1 star per 13.3° segment)
  • Use Sarvata Bhadra Chakra of that Lunar New Year chart
  • Stars receiving Veda (obstruction) from badly-placed planets → those geographical regions may experience disaster
  • To confirm it is an earthquake (vs. flood/war): check D30, D40, D60 of the annual chart
  • PVNR found statistically significant correlations in ~10 earthquake/tsunami examples
  • Mundane higher divisional charts (D40, D60) can be trusted more than in natal charts because planetary positions are known precisely (no birth time uncertainty)

Key rule:

"In the Kurma Chakra, the star containing the lagna of the Lunar New Year chart represents east. Progress the mapping dynamically per chart — don't use static nakshatra-to-region assignments. Identify Sarvata Bhadra Veda on the mapped stars to find afflicted geographical regions."

Sudarshana Chakra Dasha (SC Dasha) — Parashara's Recommended Technique

Parashara's statement: "Sudarshana Chakra Dasha, especially when combined with Ashtakavarga, is the best technique for making predictions in Kali Yuga — daily, monthly, and annual predictions."

2a. How SC Dasha Works

Three references: Lagna, Moon, Sun — the tripod of life (physical body, subtle body, causal body)

  • Progress each at 1 sign per year
  • Year 1 of life: dasha sign = sign containing natal Lagna (and separately Moon, and Sun)
  • Year 2: next sign (2nd from natal position)
  • Year 12+: repeats in cycle of 12, but results differ (because the annual/Dasha Pravesh chart changes)

Annual chart for each sign-year: Make a Dasha Pravesh Chakra (entry chart) at the beginning of each year's dasha. Judge results from that chart — not from the natal chart directly.

Multiple divisional chart application: SC Dasha can be applied to any divisional chart (D10 for career, D9 for marriage, D4 for residence, etc.) by tracking Lagna/Moon/Sun in that divisional chart.

2b. SC Dasha Interpretation Principles

Auspicious indicators in the Dasha Pravesh Chakra (for any house):

  1. Planet in own sign → that sign/house is activated and powerful
  2. Planet aspecting its own sign → that sign/house is activated
  3. Exalted planet in a sign → that sign/house is powerful
  4. Lord of a sign is exalted (even if not in that sign) → that sign/house is indirectly strengthened
  5. Lord of sign in a sign with exalted planet → the lord's sign gets benefit

Inauspicious indicator:

  • Rahu in any sign → that sign/house weakened (apply with discretion based on Rahu's strength in that chart)
  • Guru Chandala Yoga (Jupiter + Rahu together) → destabilizing; link to 5th house = setback in power; link to 8th = major disruption

House meanings (SC Dasha context):

  • 5th house = power, political following, success, fame
  • 8th house = sudden reversals, unexpected challenges, loss of position
  • 9th house = fortune, blessings, ease — 9th house power = things coming easily
  • 10th house = career effort, work — strong 10th = working hard but not necessarily winning
  • 11th house = gains, gratification

Convergence rule:

"A house is strong in SC Dasha when it is activated from 2 or all 3 references (Lagna, Moon, Sun). When 2 of 3 references show the 5th house strong, there is a good chance of power/fame in that period. When 8th house is activated from 2+ references, expect setback."

2c. SC Antardasha Calculation

Problem with standard antardasha approach: If you start the antardasha from the Mahadasha sign and go through 12 signs, the 1st antardasha reads identically to the Mahadasha — no added insight.

PVNR's Antardasha Approach (tested, works ~80-90% of cases):

  1. Make the Dasha Pravesh Chakra for the year's entry
  2. Note where the actual Lagna, Moon, and Sun fall in that Dasha Pravesh Chakra
  3. These 3 signs become the seeds for the antardasha
  4. For the Nth antardasha in that year: take the Nth house from each of the 3 seed signs
  5. The resulting 3 signs = the antardasha reference signs; judge the Dasha Pravesh Chakra from those signs

Example (Romney 2007-08 year): Dasha Pravesh Chakra had Lagna=Aquarius, Moon=Aries, Sun=Scorpio → seeds are Aquarius, Aries, Scorpio. For antardasha in February 2008 (11th month): take 11th from each → Sagittarius, Aquarius, Virgo. Judge chart from Sagittarius, Aquarius, Virgo.

  • Result: Guru Chandala Yoga in 5th from Sagittarius; 7th lord in 8th from Aquarius and Virgo → setback in power = Romney conceded Feb 2008 (verified)

For Pratyantar Dasha: Same principle; take Antardasha Pravesh Chakra, note Lagna/Moon/Sun in it, use those as seeds for the next sub-level

Rule:

"The antardasha seeds are NOT the dasha sign itself. They are the signs occupied by Lagna, Moon, and Sun in the Dasha Pravesh Chakra. From those 3 positions, count to the Nth house to find the Nth antardasha reference signs."
