Mundane Charts: PVNR Skeptical (Japan 2011 Unexplained); Kali Yuga Epoch Issue; Prashna Valid. D10 Dikpala CORRECTION: Brahma=Urdhva(Up, Creative), Ananta=Adha(Down, Foundation-Laying); Vasudeva D10: Sun+Mars in 6H=Raj Yoga Service+Surgeon; Nirriti Dashamsa=Cutting-Edge Surgery; Ananta Dashamsa=Foundation-Laying Research; 6H=Service vs 7H=Business

Mundane chart skepticism: "I experimented with solar/lunar/New Year/monthly charts; didn't find anything consistently better than natal charts." Japan 2011: Lunar NY chart (Gemini lagna) shows Jupiter as functional malefic + Mercury afflicted by 6L/8L = "earth problem possible; but why this magnitude? Why tsunami? Why nuclear? Nothing stands out." Fundamental issue: "Sun and Moon were NOT at 0° Aries at Kali Yuga start — current year-start definitions may be valid only for Krita Yuga; we may need to use Sun's longitude at Kali Yuga start as reference." Valid alternative: country independence charts (standard natal analysis applies) + Prashna (Rasi+D3+D9 together). D10 Dikpala correction: "Earlier I said Brahma = digging, Ananta = flying — this was reversed." Correct Puranic story: Shivalinga grows infinitely; Vishnu takes Varaha form and digs DOWN; Brahma takes swan form and flies UP. In all pujas: Brahma = Urdhva-Dikpala (upward, creative, scholarly); Ananta = Adha-Dikpala (downward, foundation, supporting all 14 worlds from below). Ananta = Vishnu as Ananta-Shesha = "patient foundation-laying, research that creates the basis; what others build upon." Vasudeva D10 career: Sun (5L) + Mars (1L) in 6th house = Raj Yoga in 6th = "extremely active within service sector; enterprising and hardworking; works 24/7." Sun+Mars = surgeon ("Mars = surgery planet; using precision instruments; going to war"). Nirriti dashamsa (where Sun+Mars fall): "unconventional, cutting-edge, frontier-breaking; latest cardiac technology and procedures; not mainstream." Saturn in 10th = "disciplined, patient, routine work." Saturn in Ananta dashamsa = "patient foundation-laying; research work where patience and strict guidelines required." 6H vs 7H distinction: "6H = service — at whims of employer; 7H = business — ambition-driven, desire-pursuing; even running own clinic, if planets favor 6th, the person still functions as servant/problem-solver mindset."

"I experimented with solar charts, lunar charts, New Year charts, fortnightly charts. I didn't find anything that I thought was far more consistent than what we use for natal charts anyway. When a major event happens, we want to justify it. We can always find something in any chart if we please — we will be seeing shapes in clouds. Until we have something more genuine, we will stick to natal charts."

Mundane Charts — PVNR's Skepticism

PVNR's position:

"I experimented with solar charts, lunar charts, New Year charts, new month charts, fortnightly charts, daily charts. I didn't find anything that I thought was far more consistent than what we are used to anyway."

— PVNR

Japan earthquake/tsunami (March 2011):

  • PVNR made Lunar New Year chart for Tokyo (March 15/16, 2010, 4:27/5:27 AM) as a test case
  • Lunar NY chart (Gemini lagna): Jupiter as 2nd + 11th lord (functional malefic) in lagna; Bhadaka lord in lagna; Mercury (lagna lord) in Bhurashi (earth sign), afflicted by 6th and 8th lords Mars and Saturn → "earth-related problem possible"
  • Assessment: "Something of this magnitude — we couldn't have predicted it. Why was it so disastrous? Why was there a tsunami? Why the nuclear radiation? Nothing really stands out."
  • Tendency: "When some major event happens, we want to justify it. We can always find something in any chart if we please — we will be seeing shapes in clouds. Instead, let's see something more genuine."
  • Conclusion: "We will stick to natal charts until we have something better for mundane charts."

Fundamental issue with mundane chart calculation:

  • At the start of Kali Yuga, Sun and Moon were NOT at 0° Aries and were NOT conjunct (they were close but not exact — Sun at ~2° Aries)
  • Current tradition: Solar New Year = Sun enters Aries; Lunar New Year = Sun-Moon conjunction
  • These definitions may be valid for Krita Yuga (when they were at 0°) but may be off for Kali Yuga
  • Possible correction: use the Sun's longitude at Kali Yuga start (~2°7' Aries?) as reference point
  • Or: use Sun-Moon angle at Kali Yuga start as the recurring year trigger
  • PVNR: "We may be celebrating in a slightly different way as opposed to what it should be."

What CAN be used for mundane work:

  • Accurate country independence charts (India, Pakistan, US) — standard natal analysis applies
  • Prashna charts — use Rasi + D3 + D9 (all three together, as in natal analysis)

D10 Dashamsa Analysis — Career

Key planets in D10:

  • 6th house: Sun (5th lord) + Mars (lagna lord) → Raj Yoga in 6th house of service
  • 10th house: Saturn (10th lord in own house) → disciplined, patient work
  • 3rd house: Rahu + Venus (7th + 11th lords) → desire + ambition

6th house vs. 7th house in D10:

  • 6th house = service domain: person is working hard, solving problems, overcoming obstacles; "at the whims of the employer"
  • 7th house = business domain: person has strong desires and is pursuing them; "ambitious, ambitious nature drives the work"
  • But: even when running his own clinic, Sun+Mars in 6th shows the work is service-oriented — he works 24/7; the 7th lord and 11th lord (Rahu+Venus) in 3rd (Kama trikona) show the entrepreneurial drive
  • "Raj Yoga in 6th house + Mars + Sun = extremely active within service sector; enterprising and hardworking simultaneously"

Sun+Mars combination → Surgeon:

  • Mars = planet of surgery; going to war, operating, using instruments with precision
  • Sun+Mars conjunction shows surgeon-type career, not just service worker
  • Why cardiology specifically? PVNR: "We don't have expertise to say. Study 10 cardiologists vs. 10 immunologists vs. 10 anaesthetists and see what's consistent — we haven't done that thorough a study."

Dashamsa Dikpala Deities — Nirriti and Ananta

PVNR teaching on D10 deities (deities for each Dashamsa division — still fully applicable):

Sun + Mars are in Nirriti's Dashamsa:

  • Nirriti = deity of the unconventional, boundary-breaking, crossing barriers
  • Shows: cutting-edge technology; underworld/mafia; things that are very challenging
  • In this context → high-tech surgery using latest instruments and medical practices; "cutting-edge" cardiac procedures
  • Not mainstream conventional work; always at the frontier

Saturn is in Ananta's Dashamsa:

  • Correction from earlier teaching: Previously said "Brahma = digging, Ananta = flying" — PVNR says this was backwards
  • Correct Puranic story: Shivalinga grows infinitely; Vishnu takes Varaha avatar and digs down; Brahma takes swan form and goes up
  • In all pujas: Brahma = Urdhva Dikpala (upward); Ananta = Adha Dikpala (downward, the base)
  • Ananta (Vishnu as Ananta-Shesha) = foundation of the universe; supports all 14 worlds from below
  • Ananta Dashamsa → patient, foundation-laying work; research that creates the basis for everything else
  • "Not necessarily research, but patiently laying the foundation of something — it can show research work where patience is needed and strict guidelines must be followed"

Summary: In this chart — Sun+Mars show surgery (cutting-edge per Nirriti); Saturn shows research work (foundation-laying per Ananta)
