- Ketu in 2nd aspected by malefics → stammering and other speech defects
- Ketu = hides, conceals → makes speech unclear, halting
- Exception: Very strong Ketu aspected by benefics → clear, rishi-like speech
- "Mercury afflicted (by Mars, Rahu, Ketu, or debilitation) = beats around the bush, can't express clearly. Strong/exalted Mercury = clear, direct expression."
