Why the results make sense:
No marital happiness:
- From 7th house as lagna: 6th lord in 7th = 12th lord in lagna from 7th → "12th lord of losses in the lagna of marriage — deprivation related to 7th house matters; problems with spouse"
Famous (Kṛtimān):

- Sarva-janādveṣī — inimical to people in general
- Para-dravya-rāgī — wants other people's money
- Paradāra-rataha — interested in other people's spouses; loose morals
- Aśucitaha — unclean; unkempt
Why the results make sense:
Diseased:
- "6th lord of diseases in 8th house of chronic troubles and anxiety — health problems; not good health"
Inimical to people:
- From 7th house (relationships) as lagna: 6th lord in 8th = 12th lord in 2nd from 7th → "12th lord of losses is in the house of sustaining relationships — deprives 7th house; not conducive to relations"
- "He is more a fighter and quarreler than a relater; 6th house = quarrels; Argala of quarrel on Maraka sthana from 7th"
- "He wants to deprive the 7th house, not feed it"
Wants others' money:
- From 8th house (others' money) as lagna: 6th lord in 8th = 11th lord in lagna from 8th → "11th lord of gains is in the lagna of other people's resources — he wants to enhance the 8th house; accumulates through others"
- Also: from 7th house lagna, this is 12th lord in 2nd → "other person's 12th lord in their 2nd = their wealth goes away; he gets it"
Loose morals / interest in others' spouses:
- From 9th house (dharma/morals): 6th lord in 8th = 10th lord in 12th from 9th → "10th lord of conduct in 12th house of loss from dharma = loses morals; gives up dharma"

6th Lord in 9th House
Sanskrit results:
- Kāṣṭha-pāṣāṇa-vikrayī — sells wood and stones; deals in unfortunate articles
- Vyavahāre kocit dhane — in his business dealings, mixed results (some gains, some losses)
Why the results make sense:
Sells articles of destruction/misfortune:
- "Kāṣṭha = wood (including wood for funeral pyres); pāṣāṇa = stones; both have connotations of death and misfortune"
- "This is not just a wood merchant — it means he deals in things with unfortunate connotations: death-related articles, misfortune-related commerce"
- From 7th house (business): "He is 12th lord from 7th house — his business has some 12th house flavor"
- "In the modern context: coffins, caskets, funeral services, burial plots, anything related to death or misfortune"
Mixed business results:
- From 11th house (gains): 6th lord in 9th = 8th lord from 11th in 11th → "11th lord of gains; but also 8th lord wanting to give a roller coaster ride"
- "He gets gains but then loses, then gains again — not steady; fluctuating business results"
6th Lord in 10th House
Sanskrit results:
- Koṭi-viśrutaha — very well-known in his circle; famous
- Avaktā pitṛhu — disobedient to father
- Vaktā — good orator
- Vide-śa-sukha — happy in a foreign country

- "Getting wealth from enemies does not mean enemies come and hand you money. It means you have to fight, go to court for 10 years, fight a rival — and then you get your wealth."
- From 6th house: "lagna lord in 6th house — he makes his enemies fight; he troubles his troubles"
- Planet in 11th house = gains are possible; being 6th lord = gains through fighting/enemies
Virtuous:
- From 9th house (dharma): 6th lord in 11th = 10th lord in 3rd from 9th → "Upachaya from 9th = takes initiative relating to conduct and morals; shows enthusiasm for dharma"

Spends on addictions:
- "6th house = addictions, vices, weaknesses (the enemies within ourselves like smoking, drinking)"
- 6th lord in 12th = "lord of addictions in house of expenditure → spends on his vices"
- "Also: could be someone who spends a lot on litigation (another 6th house matter)"

Hates scholarship:
- From 5th house (scholarship): 6th lord in 12th = 2nd lord in 8th from 5th → "2nd lord (Maraka) in 8th from 5th = doesn't value scholarship; Maraka of the 5th house's intelligence"
