Explanation:
- D30 is defined by Parashara as non-uniform divisions: 5°, 6°, 8° etc. each mapped to a specific sign
- Old method (checkbox checked): Each individual degree within that section gets its own mapping → "1 degree = 1 D30 position"
- New method (checkbox unchecked, now recommended): The whole N-degree portion is mapped to one sign together → whole division proration
- "This is what Vinay Jha uses. After research on natal and mundane charts, I found much better results with this approach."
- Default will be changed in the next software version to unchecked
