“Just like the 12th from Atmakaraka is Ishta Devata and 9th from Atmakaraka is Dharma Devata, similarly the 6th from Amatyakaraka is Palana Devata.”

“Vimshottari Dasha, even though it is good, doesn't give perfect results always. On the other hand, Narayana Dasha shows what is happening on the ground. It shows the reality.”

“His relation with his sibling is not Maya. They were born to the same mother. But the relationship to the brother-in-law is only through Maya. So you see only Upapada.”

“Whenever you encounter Rahu, you stop there, no more children. But if Jupiter has an aspect on that particular sign, or the lord of that sign has a connection with Jupiter, then Jupiter will protect the child and the next child will come.”

“If you see Raj Yoga in a Tithi Pravesha chart with the Hora lord, the ruler of the year, involved there, you can directly say that that Raj Yoga will fructify.”

“When you are born, you have a certain Lagna. As time progresses, something else starts to function as if it was your Lagna. So that is what Narayana Dasha shows.”

“The 3rd and 6th house from Arudha Lagna show your manifested nature — whether somebody wants to fight, or whether somebody just walks away when somebody provokes them.”

“Lagna is the one through which we act, not react. Moon is reaction, Lagna is action.”

“If a dusthana lord is in a dusthana alone, or a dusthana lord is in a dusthana with another dusthana lord, that is Vipreeta Raja Yoga. If he is spoiling all the quadrant lords, that is not Vipreeta Raja Yoga.”

“It is not the 10th lord who is in Agni aṁśa, it is the 9th lord. So his dharma is that of some kind of transforming the society.”

“There is a Pāpa Puruṣa inside every person. Pāpa means sin, puruṣa means person. There is a sin person within each person. That person is who makes you do all your sins.”

“Most importantly, in a democracy, the planet that matters for power is the planet of the masses — Moon. Moon is in the 12th house from lagna. From the 5th house of power, Moon is in the 8th house. So in either case it’s bad.”

“There is no order. It depends on what your priorities are, what the person wants and what questions you want to answer.”

“Venus is the poet, but Mercury is the author. The planet of media is not Venus — media is always shown by Mercury.”

“The paka, where the antardasha planet is — that house shows where the activities are focused. But the bhoga shows where the results are coming, what is being experienced. Bhoga means experience.”

“Navamsa is not just marriage. Marriage is one aspect of the Navamsa. Navamsa is the chart of your dharma — the pillar on which the rest of your existence stands.”

“The 7th house shows the marriage, and the 5th house shows the fruits of marriage — 11th from the 7th. It is the gains that you get from the marriage. That is why the 5th house will show children.”

“Narayana is satya, but Lakshmi is maya. Shiva is satya, but Parvati, Shakti, is maya. So the same Shiva is within all of us.”

“If you take the 7th house in Navamsa itself, that will show what happens to husband himself. If you want to see when husband has a good time in career, when he has troubles in career, then you use that variation.”

“Right now we are focusing on all the influences that are stationary throughout life, and we are seeing when each influence will peak out. Even though every influence is there all the time, there is a certain time when it peaks out.”

“Siddhāṁśa is the chart that shows your siddhi. But if you are concerned about the material learning that you do at school, then you should use the 4th lord.”

“There are various Narayana daśās. You can use the right one to see the right kind of effects.”

“If Shani is there in the sign where you are starting the dasha, then you always go forward and you always go 1, 2, 3, 4. Shani likes Brahma’s progression. He doesn’t like jumps. He is manda.”

“When an accident happens because of some other planet, it is just an accident. When an accident happens because of Atmakaraka, it will be a life-changing accident.”

“Just like you have the concept of ruler of the year, you can find the ruler of the day based on the Hora Lord. Unless something is shown in the annual chart, it won't happen just because it's in the daily chart.”

“When you look at a particular day, you have to look at it in the context of the surrounding month. When you look at a month, you have to look at it in the context of the surrounding year. When you look at a year, you have to look at it in the context of the whole life of the person.”

“Either there is something lacking in our understanding, we are missing some very crucial factors, or the time is wrong. If the time is wrong, we can do something about it.”

“The conjunction of A9, A10, and A4 is like a material Raja Yoga. A9 is the tangible fortune that you enjoy. A10 is your tangible karma. A4 is your tangible sukha.”

“It is my view that the names are just guidelines. You can’t just go by the name. The placement of the lord of the yoga in the chart is more important.”

“If the 12th from Atmakaraka has lagna, the person will be a saint kind of person. And if Ketu is there, he will get moksha.”

“Many times when you see the attitude of the person and the physical features of the person, you can reasonably guess the lagna.”

“The brahmin who is taking the dakshina, he should be capable of taking some karma on himself. If he is a Tom, Dick and Harry who takes the dakshina, then he is in trouble.”

“Sthira karakas are Shiva rupas. Chara karakas are Vishnu rupas. Naisargika karakas are Brahma rupas. We are seeing for the purpose of suffering and death, so you use the sthira karaka.”

“Whenever I have seen Sankranti Dosha, the person has struggled a lot, and after doing the remedies there was a marked improvement. So this is actually a very important dosha.”

“Marana Karaka Sthana you don't see just from lagna, you can see from anywhere. Anything taken as a reference, if Sun is in the 12th house, Sun is causing death to that particular thing.”

“There is an Arudha parivartana between 9th and 12th houses. That brings a link between the two houses in a tangible way. If somebody is born right now, marriage will increase the dharma of the person.”

“You may be doing a mantra five hours every day, but nothing may be happening. It may be because your agni is not strong enough to digest that mantra. If your bhutagni becomes strong, all the sadhanas you do give their results 10 times or 100 times or 1000 times faster.”

“Because Moon is the 8th lord, he is better off in neecha than neecha being broken. Had Moon been the 9th lord or a quadrant lord, then the neecha bhanga would have been even better.”

“This Gemini and this Gemini are not different Geminis. That is a misconception that some people have. The Navamsa is not cast in some other zodiac. It is the same zodiac.”

“So they knew they were taking so many karmas from people, they could take them, they could withstand them. That is why Brahmanas are recommended here.”

“Especially all these chapters on remedies, feeding the brahmins, giving dakshinas, there is a chance that somebody else made it up later. But still it doesn't hurt to follow it. Whether it is Parashara's teaching or somebody else's teaching, this is the teaching of tradition.”

“It is like one of your friends who really likes you, who wants to do good to you, but sometimes he just ends up irritating you. He is overall for the health of this person, but he also is under some obligation to give some problem.”

“Being in Gandanta does not really affect the yoga that the planet takes part in. It is not a general weakness, but it is an inclination of the planet to do harm, and usually it is a physical harm.”

“It is not that they are bad, but they are unusual, and according to Parashara, such unusual deliveries forebode some evil.”

“If you give this knowledge to such a person, you will get unhappiness every day because of it. Even if you don’t take it literally, it means it’s a big bad karma.”

“In reality, everything is within the Paramatma and Paramatma is within everything. So, you have to increase the Paramatma within you through practice.”

“If you see one of these combinations, you should very, very strongly recommend Mahamrityunjaya Homa for the baby.”

“If we are both living in the same house, you do not necessarily become like me on day 1. You may become like me on day 100. If the relation is uncomfortable, like Moon and Rahu, they may never become like each other.”

“If you wear gem of a planet who shows certain negative results, they happen, the negative results happen. Whereas if you pray to a planet who shows negative results, the negative results are controlled.”

“Any results given by Parashara, you have to take them with a pinch of salt. You have to realize the probability of the combination. If a combination is highly probable, if every other person has it, it is probably not a combination that will make you like Bill Gates.”

“You can’t really conclude how wealthy the person is with the 2nd house, but you can conclude how wealthy the person feels, how wealthy the person behaves.”

“Wealth is a measure of your resourcefulness. How many resources you have or how many resources you can summon, that is it. That is the definition of dhana.”

“Benefic planets when associated with any house bring good results to that house. The lord of the house also brings good results, especially when he is associated with the karaka.”

“12th house shows moksha, not even 8th house. 8th house only shows sadhana, but 12th house is the house of moksha. 9th house being strong doesn’t mean you will get moksha.”

“Dṛg daśā is basically tracing how the light travels with time, how the light of God reflects on various things and makes them visible.”

“So there is some disturbance in the spiritual direction of the person, but at the end there is a big expansion of the spiritual direction of the person.”
