When Marriage Will Come — Daśā, Transit, Tithi Praveśa

Mahādaśā lord Jupiter

Vimśottarī from the Moon: Jupiter–Ketu was running at the time of the class.

• Rāśi: Jupiter is in the 10th house. He has no link with the 7th house.
• Navāṁśa (Leo lagna): Jupiter is in Gemini, the 11th. He is the 5th lord and aspects the 7th house (Aquarius) by graha dṛṣṭi.
• "5th lord aspecting the 7th house can give marriage." Jupiter daśā has the potential.

Ketu antardaśā — delay

• Ketu is in the 7th house in Rāśi and in Navāṁśa.
• In Rāśi he is the 8th lord, so not a strong indicator of marriage.
• In Navāṁśa he is the 4th lord in the 7th. From lagna he can give marriage.
• The problem is from the daśā lord. From Jupiter, Ketu is the 6th lord in the 9th house.

"He is basically the 6th lord. The agenda is to delay the marriage, or give a break in the marriage if already married. His agenda is not to get married."

Venus antardaśā — the candidate

• In Rāśi Venus is the 7th lord, and he is the kāraka.
• In Navāṁśa he is 3rd and 10th lord in the 12th house, in Cancer.
• Link with the 7th: from Cancer, Aquarius is the 8th sign. Venus has a three-quarter aspect on the 7th house. Quantified, it is 71%.
• From daśā lord Jupiter, Venus is the 5th lord in the 2nd house — a good planet who can give auspicious events.
• Within Jupiter mahādaśā, Venus antardaśā is a good candidate for marriage. It starts January 15, 2013 and runs about two and a half years.

Transit of the daśā lord

• "The daśā lord's transit is very important."
• Jupiter was transiting Taurus, the 12th from the natal Moon. Not a transit that gives marriage.
• When he comes to Gemini he aspects the 7th from the Moon (Sagittarius) and the 7th from Lagna (Libra).
• Gemini is also his natal Navāṁśa position.
• So: second half of 2013 and early 2014. "Keep looking. It may work out in the middle of next year."

Rāśi of the annual chart (Gemini lagna)

• The Hora lord, ruler of the year, is Mars. He is in the 7th house.
• Mars is 6th and 11th lord. 7th lord Jupiter is in the 12th house with Ketu.
• "There are possibilities, but nothing is standing out."

Navāṁśa of the annual chart (Libra lagna)

• The Navāṁśa lagna is on a border. Lagna is at 3°15′ Gemini; 22 seconds later the Navāṁśa changes. So this is not certain.
• Lagna lord Venus is in the 5th house, in Aquarius. 7th lord Mars is in the 11th, in Leo. Each is in a friendly sign.
• They are not friends, but they are in samasaptaka — and closely. By Navāṁśa longitude Venus is at 28° Aquarius and Mars at 26° Leo: within about 2°.
• One of the two is the Hora lord. The 7th lord is the ruler of the year. "There is a strong sign."

Timing inside the year

• The TP daśā of Mars was running at the time of the class, so there is some chance in the next month or two if something works out suddenly.
• Venus's TP daśā runs in the July–August time frame.

"The strongest probability is for the July second half, August and September, that time frame."

Śrāvaṇa māsa falls then and has many muhūrtas. "That is a good time to target, but keep looking."

Career — a D-10 Built on the 3rd, 7th and 11th

He had finished a master's degree, worked two years in cloud computing and server virtualisation, had just received his H-1, and wanted a better job. Employers kept asking for experience.

Jupiter daśā in Daśāṁśa (Virgo lagna)

• Jupiter is in the 7th house in own sign, Pisces — a very strong planet in this chart, though the 7th is the house of business and he is looking for a job.
• "Very likely this daśā will stabilise his career."
• Ketu antardaśā (running): Ketu is the 3rd lord, placed in the 7th in the class chart. Not strong for a stable job.
• Venus antardaśā (from January 15, 2013): Venus is 2nd and 9th lord in the 11th house with 11th lord Moon. Venus and Moon in the 11th show fulfilment of desires and happiness in career.
• From Jupiter, Venus is 3rd and 8th lord — a malefic. But he is in a trine from the daśā lord, and an antardaśā lord in a trine from the daśā lord gives auspicious developments.
• Because he owns the 3rd and 8th from the daśā lord, the result comes through 3rd or 8th house matters: a contract job instead of a permanent one, or something unexpected, or something needing a big move.

"My feeling is that Jupiter–Venus will stabilise his career."

Right profession

• Lagna is Virgo, an intellectual sign. The 10th house is Gemini.
• 10th lord Mercury is in a sign of Mars (Scorpio). Software is the right profession.

Not a service chart

• The 3rd house has Mercury, who is both lagna lord and 10th lord.
• The 7th house has its own lord Jupiter.
• The 11th house has trine lord Venus (9th lord) with 11th lord Moon.

"3, 7 and 11 are strongest. This is not the horoscope for service at all. This is the chart for business or contracts or consulting."

• A consulting position is hard to get without experience. Eventually he will settle into a consulting role and make good money in it.
• Advice: keep the mind open to consulting work. The student said he is not a person interested in earning money. PVNR: then do not put it to him as earning more — put it as being in control, being his own boss.

Jupiter–Moon, 2016–17

• Sun antardaśā is okay.
• Moon antardaśā will be "a glorious antardaśā": Jupiter in the 7th and Moon in the 11th, both in own signs, friends, and in mutual trines.
• From the daśā lord, the antardaśā lord is the 5th lord in the 5th house.
• Until then things will not bloom to full potential.

Saturn and Rāhu in the D-10 lagna

The student asked about Saturn, 6th lord, in the D-10 lagna.

• It shows a career of obstacles, setbacks and overcoming them.
• Saturn in lagna also makes a person sluggish or slow.
• In the class chart Rāhu, the other lord of the 6th, is in lagna too: "somebody who is not that interested."
• Against that, lagna lord Mercury is in the 3rd in a martial sign and 3rd lord Mars is exalted. Once he gets into something he gets things done.

The site's chart puts Rāhu in the 12th and Ketu in the 6th of D-10, one sign behind the class chart. The node is about 1° short of the Daśāṁśa boundary.

Remedy for career

• 10th lord Mercury is with the Sun in Scorpio in Daśāṁśa.
• Scorpio is a sign of Mars: a warrior. Mercury shows Viṣṇu. The Sun shows Rāma.
• Together: a warrior form of Rāma — Rāma with the bow, Kodaṇḍa Rāma.
